1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My Invoice Generator at my-invoice-generator.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Service. By continuing to use My Invoice Generator after any changes to these Terms are posted, you accept those changes.

2. Description of Service

My Invoice Generator is a free, client-side web application that allows you to create, customise, preview, print, and download professional invoices as PDF documents. The Service includes the following functionality:

• Creating and editing invoice documents in your browser
• Adding company logos, line items, taxes, discounts, and shipping charges
• Downloading invoices as PDF files
• Saving and loading invoices using your browser's local storage
• Reviewing previously saved invoices via the Invoice History feature

The Service is provided entirely within your web browser. No invoice data is transmitted to or stored on My Invoice Generator's servers. All processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, subject to these Terms. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of all information entered into your invoices
• Ensuring your invoices comply with the applicable tax, legal, and accounting requirements of your country, state, or region
• Any disputes that arise between you and the recipients of your invoices
• Keeping backup copies of your invoices, as browser storage can be cleared at any time

My Invoice Generator does not provide legal, tax, financial, or accounting advice. The Service is a document creation tool only. You should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your circumstances.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding user-generated invoice data), is owned by My Invoice Generator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service's source code without permission
• Use the My Invoice Generator name, logo, or branding without prior written consent
• Create derivative works based on the Service for commercial redistribution

Your invoice documents - including logos, text, and data you enter - remain your own property. My Invoice Generator claims no ownership over content you create using the Service.

5. Your Content and Data

All invoice data you enter (company names, addresses, line items, logos, financial figures, etc.) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device or browser
• Is not accessible to My Invoice Generator or any third party through our Service
• Will be permanently deleted if you clear your browser's site data or use private/incognito mode
• May be lost if your browser updates, resets, or you switch devices

We strongly recommend downloading PDF copies of important invoices as a permanent record. My Invoice Generator is not responsible for any loss of data caused by browser storage being cleared, browser crashes, or device failure.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service loads resources from the following third-party providers:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) - to load the Inter typeface used throughout the interface and in generated PDFs
• Cloudflare cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) - to load the html2canvas and jsPDF libraries used for PDF generation

These third parties may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) when your browser requests these resources. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. My Invoice Generator has no control over these third-party services.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create fraudulent, forged, or deceptive invoices
• Commit tax evasion, money laundering, or any other financial crime
• Impersonate any person, company, or government body
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is publicly available
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, My Invoice Generator EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content

We do not warrant that PDF documents generated by the Service will be accepted by any tax authority, government agency, or other third party. You are responsible for verifying the compliance of your invoices with applicable requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, My Invoice Generator SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Loss of invoice data due to browser storage being cleared
• Errors in PDF generation or formatting
• Reliance on inaccurate tax calculations

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the Service is free, this amount is zero.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which My Invoice Generator operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
